Olbermann worked at ESPN’s SportsCenter from 1992 to 1997 (save 1993-1994, when he helped launch the ESPN2 network as a “marquee” personality). The 11 PM show featured Olbermann alongside Dan Patrick; the two went on to write a book chronicling their experiences together, titled The Big Show . SportsCenter ultimately scored Olbermann a Cable ACE award for Best Sportscaster in 1995. Read more…
