She’s no idiot. She realized that she could cash in on her new found celebrity and make millions from speaking engagements. According to several sources, Sarah made $12 million last year and continues to rake in the money. That’s quite an increase from her $125k salary she was paid as governor.
Right-wingers were desperate for a leader and they found one in Sarah Palin. She’s just like them… average intelligence, low information, religious, anti-government, plain-spoken, and that makes them feel good. Right-wingers are all about emotion.
No, Olbermann was wrong when he called Sarah an idiot. It’s her followers who are the idiots.
