by Ben Hoffman

Let’s hope Steve makes a speedy recovery so he can continue his mission to deprive people of healthcare so the rich can have their taxes cut.

James Hodgkinson: American Hero

by Ben Hoffman

JamesHodgkinson.jpg

Yes, you heard that right; James Hodgkinson is an American hero.

The GOP has been destroying America for over 100 years and especially since Reagan. With Trump at the helm, our country is on the verge of collapse. People need to take action. While I don’t condone this kind of violence, no one can say that Republicans didn’t have it coming.

They’re taking away healthcare for millions, destroying the environment, and got us into wars for profit.

Look at the harm including deaths they caused in Flint, Michigan, just to help corporations make money.

They’re almost solely responsible for the $20 trillion national debt.

The Trump administration’s ties to Russia are treasonous.

Republicans are destroying everything that makes America America.

James Hodgkinson fought back much the way resistance fighters in Nazi Germany fought back. Perhaps Republicans will start thinking about representing the American people instead of just big-money donors.

A shooting at Marysville-Pilchuck High School Friday afternoon left one victim and the gunman himself dead. Four other victims were hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

“It started off with an argument, but then I looked back and there was just gunshots and just people falling down,” Cervantes recalled. And immediately after the gunshots, the (woman) intervened, he said.

“She heard the gunshots first and she came in running through the door, right next to it,” he recalled.
Cervantes said there was no prolonged struggle between Silberberger and the gunman.

“It wasn’t (a) wrestle. She just grabbed his arm, and it lasted like two seconds, and I heard another shot.”
Cervantes said it was the shot that killed the gunman with his own weapon.

Randy Davis, the president of the Marysville Education Association, said he taught at the school for 20 years and knows Silberberger as someone who student-taught last year and just started her first semester as a social studies teacher.

Davis described Silberberger as “Your classic first-year teacher with high enthusiasm, a lot of passion for what she does.”
