Nearly 1/3 of conservatives in Louisiana blame Obama for the Hurricane Katrina fiasco

by Ben Hoffman

propaganda-IIAh, the power of propaganda.

A significant chunk of Louisiana Republicans evidently believe that President Barack Obama is to blame for the poor response to the hurricane that ravaged their state more than three years before he took office.

29% of Louisiana Republicans said Obama, who was still a freshman U.S. Senator when the storm battered the Gulf Coast in 2005, was more responsible. Nearly half of Louisiana Republicans — 44 percent — said they aren’t sure who to blame. Only 28% said they think former President George W. Bush, who was in office at the time, was more responsible for the poor federal response.

An informed populace is the GOP’s worst nightmare. Studies show over and over that the more education a person has, the more likely that person is to be a Democrat. And the more religious a person is, the more likely that person is to be a Republican.

Fascist New Hampshire GOP Chairman tells conservatives to drown Democrats

by Ben Hoffman

New Hampshire GOP Chairman Jennifer Horn

MANCHESTER – A few hours after Hillary Clinton energized Democrats ahead of Tuesday’s election, about 400 Republicans cheered on the top of their ticket, linking all of their opponents to President Obama.

There were no out of state, national Republicans on hand but that seemed not to matter to the group at Wiggins Airways at the Manchester Airport, who greeted Scott Brown, Walt Havenstein, Frank Guinta and Marilinda Garcia as they arrived on the NHGOP “Victory Bus,” which pulled directly into the huge hangar.

The featured speakers were familiar – of the same name.

Former Gov. John H. Sununu said Democrats should be “embarrassed of their President who has failed America, who has screwed America, and we have to make a change.

“Think of how disgraceful it is to have a disgrace in the White House,” Sununu said.

Yeah, after Bush allowed us to be attacked in 2001, let Osama Bin Laden get away when he was cornered, invaded Afghanistan and fought that war with unprecedented ineptitude, lied us into war in Iraq, fought that war with equal ineptitude, wasted four trillion dollars on the two wars, nearly totally destroyed our economy, tripled the national debt, and created the largest deficit in U.S. history… and those are just the biggies, but Obama is a disgrace because one person has died from Ebola.

New Hampshire GOP Chairman Jennifer Horn had tough words.

Insisting “this is our moment,” Horn said, “A wave just doesn’t happen. Waves happen when every single member of a cause or a movement come together.
“This is our time, we need to crush it and push their heads under over and over and over again until they cannot breathe anymore,” said Horn.

Common Cause staff and volunteers will spend Tuesday “assisting voters and monitoring the process at polling places” in 16 states, according to an email the group sent to supporters. ”Three of our staff attorneys will be working at Election Protection headquarters in Washington, DC to help field calls to the… hotline…from voters and election monitors across the country.”

Fascism at work: Rick Perry threatens Grand Jury

by Ben Hoffman

Dumb-ass fascist

Dumb-ass fascist

Texas Governor Rick Perry seems to be threatening to retaliate against grand jurors who indicted him for felony abuse-of-office and is misusing rules to try to toss out the charges before trial, a special prosecutor alleged.

“The defendant’s own words have instilled a concern for all persons who participated in the grand jury investigation,” Michael McCrum, Perry’s special prosecutor, said in a filing made public today, asking a state judge to deny the governor’s request for grand jury transcripts.

Kyle Clark calls out Fox propaganda for lying about voter fraud

Bill Maher nails what’s wrong with Democratic candidates and why I won’t donate to their cause

by Ben Hoffman

Democrats are spineless. They’re running from their accomplishments and allowing them to be redefined by Fox “news,” other right-wing pundits, and Republicans. I vote for them because their policies are better for America (something conservatives never consider), but I’ll be damned if I donate to their campaigns. Some of their commercials make me want to vote for Republicans, but I don’t because I vote policy — not personality.

If you vote Republican, you’re partially responsible for the Iraq war disaster

by Ben Hoffman

Conservatives have been trying to blame the Iraq war disaster on Obama claiming Republicans “had it won,” but “Obama lost it.” They blame it on Hillary Clinton for voting for the Iraq war resolution. They even justify the disaster by claiming that “Bush found WMDs in Iraq.” He did, but those WMDs were sold to Hussein by Reagan and Bush, Sr, and they were all dismantled and disabled.

You can’t be a conservative without being willing to lie for the Republican party simply because you cannot defend Republican policies without lying.

Here’s the latest news about the Iraq war disaster…

Islamic State group extremists lined up and shot dead at least 50 tribesmen and women in Iraq’s Anbar province, officials said Saturday, the latest mass killing committed by the group.

The shooting happened late Friday in the village of Ras al-Maa, north of the provincial capital of Ramadi, Anbar councilman Faleh al-Issawi said.

Militants accused the men and women of the Al Bu Nimr tribe of retaliating against them after being displaced from their homes when the group seized the Anbar town of Hit last month, al-Issawi said.

“These killings are taking place almost on a daily basis now in the areas under the control of the Islamic State group and they will continue unless this terrorist group is stopped,” al-Issawi told The Associated Press.

An official in the Anbar governor’s office confirmed the death toll. He spoke on condition of anonymity as he is not authorized to brief journalists.

On Thursday, authorities found the bodies of 48 Sunni tribesmen killed by the Islamic State group in Anbar.

GOP: More than just a political party; it’s a cult!

by Ben Hoffman

gop-goonRepublicans ARE drinking the Kool-Aid.

On Wednesday, Politico published an article in which John Podesta, Bill Clinton’s former chief of staff and current adviser to President Obama, said that Republicans are, “a cult worthy of Jonestown in charge of one of the houses of Congress.”

Those comments caused outrage with Republicans in Washington, and in the interests of political correctness and civility, Podesta apologized to Speaker of the House John Boehner.

But apology aside, Podesta was right.

The Republican Party is a cult worthy of Jim Jones, and all across America, it’s killing off its followers, just like Jim Jones did.

For reasons that typically have to do with god, gays or guns, low-income people across America frequently vote Republican, thus becoming Republican cultist followers.

And then, just like the followers at Jonestown, they let their leaders in the Republican Party pass out “policy Kool-aid” that actually kills some of them.

Fox “news” only tells the truth 21% of the time (completely or mostly true statements)

by Ben Hoffman

fox lies

Fox lies almost 80% of the time

Source…
Fox is nothing but a Republican propaganda station. People who get their “facts” from Fox or other right-wing sites love party more than our country.

ABC told the truth 41% of the time, CBS: 39%, NBC: 35%. Overwhelmingly, on the major broadcasting networks, the lies were told by right-wing pundits. Since Fox “news” is nearly 100% right-wing, it is understandable that they would score low in honesty.

The Broncos/Raiders Game Analysis (If football was analysed the way right-wingers analyze politics)

by Ben Hoffman

The Broncos played the Raiders on Monday night and horrible is the only word that could be used to describe the Raiders. Or maybe awful. They really stunk up Sports Authority Field in Denver and the stench still lingers.

As with any bad team, penalties hurt the Raiders. They were penalized 15 times for 131 yards.

Raiders quarterback Jacoby Ford couldn’t seem to hold onto the ball. Broncos pass-rusher Von Miller speared the football out of Ford’s arms and strong safety Rahim Moore scooped it up at the Raiders 15. The Broncos scored easily, rubbing salt into the Raider’s wounds.

The Broncos delivered in all areas of the game. A Colquitt punt traveled 65 yards and was downed at the Raider’s 1 yard line, leaving the Raiders in dire straits.

Sebastian Janikowski, who is normally reliable for the Raiders, barely made a routine 63 yard kick.

The Raiders are truly a horrible team and they probably won’t want to show their faces in Denver again any time soon.

The final score was Broncos 20, Raiders 23.
