Overly Emotional Right-Wingers Lie About Obama’s “Bump In The Road” Comment

by Ben Hoffman

Below is the text from Obama’s speech to automakers where Mitt Romney took Obama’s comment out of context.

Now, I don’t want to pretend like everything is solved. We’ve still got a long way to go not just in this industry, but in our economy; for all our friends, all our neighbors who are still feeling the sting of recession. There’s nobody here who doesn’t know someone who is looking for work and hasn’t found something yet. Even though the economy is growing, even though it’s created more than 2 million jobs over the past 15 months, we still face some tough times. We still face some challenges. This economy took a big hit. You know, it’s just like if you had a bad illness, if you got hit by a truck, it’s going to take a while for you to mend. And that’s what’s happened to our economy. It’s taking a while to mend.

And there are still some headwinds that are coming at us. Lately, it’s been high gas prices that have caused a lot of hardship for a lot of working families. And then you had the economic disruptions following the tragedy in Japan. You got the instability in the Middle East, which makes folks uncertain. There are always going to be bumps on the road to recovery. We’re going to pass through some rough terrain that even a Wrangler would have a hard time with. We know that. Right-wingers are pathological liars. They’re pathetic little sheep who see their political party as a religion and will lie to defend it. They’re the antithesis of our Founding Fathers.

Romney Believes In Anthropogenic Global Warming — Reduces Presidential Chances To Zero

by Ben Hoffman

(Reuters) – Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney broke with Republican orthodoxy on Friday by saying he believes that humans are responsible, at least to some extent, for climate change.

“I believe the world is getting warmer, and I believe that humans have contributed to that,” he told a crowd of about 200 at a town hall meeting in Manchester, New Hampshire.

“It’s important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may be significant contributors.”

Right-wingers are told to not believe in man’s contribution to global climate change and they are adamant about it. Although the vast majority of scientists agree that man is contributing to climate change, any scientist who denies it is good enough “proof” that it’s not real.

So Romney has three strikes against him: He’s a Mormon. He implemented the health reform in Massachusetts in which “Obamacare” is based. And he believes in global warming.

He’s also smart, logical, and doesn’t seem to be overly religious. Therefore, to a right-winger, he’s not one of them. There’s no way in hell they’re going to make him the Republican candidate.
