The difference between Democrats and Republicans

by Ben Hoffman

Republicans-vs-Democrats

Some people claim both parties are exactly the same. Those people are idiots. Here are the basic differences between Democrats and Republicans.

  • Democrats have good policies but are weak leaders.
  • Republicans are strong leaders but their policies are catastrophic and fail miserably each and every time.
  • Overly emotional people tend to vote Republican because that party makes them feel safe.
  • Analytical people vote Democratic.

Fascist New Hampshire GOP Chairman tells conservatives to drown Democrats

by Ben Hoffman

New Hampshire GOP Chairman Jennifer Horn

MANCHESTER – A few hours after Hillary Clinton energized Democrats ahead of Tuesday’s election, about 400 Republicans cheered on the top of their ticket, linking all of their opponents to President Obama.

There were no out of state, national Republicans on hand but that seemed not to matter to the group at Wiggins Airways at the Manchester Airport, who greeted Scott Brown, Walt Havenstein, Frank Guinta and Marilinda Garcia as they arrived on the NHGOP “Victory Bus,” which pulled directly into the huge hangar.

The featured speakers were familiar – of the same name.

Former Gov. John H. Sununu said Democrats should be “embarrassed of their President who has failed America, who has screwed America, and we have to make a change.

“Think of how disgraceful it is to have a disgrace in the White House,” Sununu said.

Yeah, after Bush allowed us to be attacked in 2001, let Osama Bin Laden get away when he was cornered, invaded Afghanistan and fought that war with unprecedented ineptitude, lied us into war in Iraq, fought that war with equal ineptitude, wasted four trillion dollars on the two wars, nearly totally destroyed our economy, tripled the national debt, and created the largest deficit in U.S. history… and those are just the biggies, but Obama is a disgrace because one person has died from Ebola.

New Hampshire GOP Chairman Jennifer Horn had tough words.

Insisting “this is our moment,” Horn said, “A wave just doesn’t happen. Waves happen when every single member of a cause or a movement come together.
“This is our time, we need to crush it and push their heads under over and over and over again until they cannot breathe anymore,” said Horn.

Conservatives are fascists

by Ben Hoffman

polls_BushHitlerShitAsshole_2456_443531_answer_2_xlarge

  • Fascism is a radical authoritarian, nationalist, right-wing political ideology.
  • Fascists seek to rejuvenate their nation based on commitment to the national community as an organic entity, in which individuals are bound together in national identity by suprapersonal connections of ancestry, culture, blood, and the Republican party.
  • To achieve this, fascists purge forces, ideas, people, and systems deemed to be the cause of decadence and degeneration.
  • Fascists believe that a nation requires strong leadership, singular collective identity, and the will and ability to commit violence and wage war in order to keep the nation strong.
  • It advocates the creation of a totalitarian single-party, right-wing state that seeks the mass mobilization of a nation through indoctrination, physical education, and family policy (such as eugenics).
  • A fascist state’s government is led by a supreme leader such as George W. Bush who exercises a dictatorship over the fascist movement, the government, and other institutions of the state.
  • Discipline and obedience to the leader is demanded by the fascist movement to followers and subjects of a fascist state and is promoted through encouraging comradeship and commitment of followers and subjects.
  • Fascist governments forbid and suppress opposition to the fascist state. In the Republican fascist party, dissent is not allowed.
  • Fascism promotes violence and war as actions that create national regeneration, spirit and vitality.
  • It views conflict as a fact of life that is responsible for all human progress.
  • It exalts militarism as providing positive transformation in society, in providing spiritual renovation, education, instilling of a will to dominate in people’s character, and creating national comradeship through military service.
  • Fascists commonly utilize paramilitary organizations for violent attacks on opponents, or to overthrow a political system.
  • Fascists are for socialized religion, military, and corporate economic losses.

by Ben Hoffman

Tim Cook with Steve Jobs

Tim Cook, Apple’s chief executive, said he was “proud to be gay” in an essay published early Thursday, becoming by far the most prominent executive of a public company to come out.

“Let me be clear: I’m proud to be gay, and I consider being gay among the greatest gifts God has given me,” Mr. Cook wrote in the essay, published by Bloomberg Businessweek.

Mr. Cook, 53, has never spoken publicly about his sexual orientation in the many years he has worked in the spotlight at Apple.

In his essay, Mr. Cook also noted that Cory Gardner is a Nazi, and that it’s very dangerous for our country if Nazis gain power.

Latino votes matter in this election if we’re going to defeat the Nazis

by Ben Hoffman
Udall vs. Gardner

Udall vs. Nazi Gardner

In the basement of a northwest Denver office building, blue “Latinos con Udall” signs adorned the wall behind Arturo Rodriguez as he pressed the need for immigration reform and appealed to the crowd in the small room.

“Those of us who are Latinos, we know we’re family-oriented,” said Rodriquez, the national president of the United Farmworkers of America, as he stood next to Sen. Mark Udall. “So we’ve got to be cien por ciento — we’ve got to be 100 percent — in ensuring that all of our family votes.”

For Udall, that Latino turnout could make all the difference in a tight race against Republican challenger, U.S. Rep. Cory Gardner. Also at stake, potentially, is Democrats’ control of the U.S. Senate.

Paul Krugman: Republicans destroyed our economy and continue to hold it back

by Ben Hoffman

gop_recessionMore than five years after the Great Recession officially ended in June 2009, a whopping 72 percent of Americans think the economy is still mired in a recession. And while they’re technically wrong, it’s not hard to see why they have that idea. Despite 56 consecutive months of private sector job growth, the labor force participation rate is at its lowest level since 1978. While the top 1 percent has bounced back just fine, middle-class wages remain stagnant. Can you blame the country for not breaking into “Happy Days Are Here Again”?

In his New York Times column this morning, Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman spells out what’s wrong with our economy and with our country in general. It’s “the destructive ideology that has taken over the Republican Party.”

Now, let’s be fair… The GOP has a long history of destructive economic policies. They caused the Enron scandal, the S&L scandal, and most other economic scandals. But while they have always been extreme, they have gone full-blown fascism. Anyone who doesn’t agree with the Republican party “should be jailed or killed.” And that’s just plain un-American and pro-Nazi Germany.

Joni Ernst tells people to use guns against the police

Joni Ernst recently said in a campaign speech: “I do believe in the right to carry, and I believe in the right to defend myself and my family with guns — whether it’s from an intruder, or whether it’s from the government, should they decide that my rights are no longer important.”

News media outlets recently have been reporting outrageous cases of police brutality, murders, and other violations of people’s rights. The police represents the government. Therefore, according to Joni Ernst, people should take up arms and fight back against the police.

Fascist Colorado county clerk official tries to limit free speech

by Ben Hoffman

October-21-2014-P1-400x387Fascist Republican Larimer County Clerk and Recorder Angela Myers objected to the newspapers because of their front page coverage of Sen. Mark Udall’s (D-CO) visit to the university’s campus. She threatened to confiscate copies of a student newspaper that were available in newspaper racks at the university’s student center because she claimed that they violate a state law prohibiting “electioneering . . . within one hundred feet of any building in which a polling location is located.” She didn’t have a problem when the newspaper featured a front page photo of Republican Cory Gardner, though.

After receiving a cease and desist letter from Steven Zansberg, an attorney at Levine Sullivan Koch and Schultz, LLP, Rocky Mountain Student Media’s legal representation, Myers reversed her decision and said the Collegian will be allowed to display newspapers in the racks at the entrance to the LSC.
