According to conservatives, there are 2nd Amendment remedies for abuse of power

by Ben Hoffman

“Hilimages.jpglary wants to abolish — essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, if she gets to pick, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.”

~ Donald Trump

“Our Founding Fathers understood that the guys with the guns make the rules.”
~ NRA chief Wayne LaPierre

Robert Lowry, who ran against Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, stopped by a Republican event that was held at a shooting range. He fired at a human silhouette target with the letters “DWS” written next to the head.

“You know, if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies.”
~ Sharon Angle

“If I could issue hunting permits, I would officially declare today opening day for liberals. The season would extend through November 2 and have no limits on how many taken as we desperately need to ‘thin’ the herd.”
~ Brad Goehring (ran for the California statehouse)

“Get on Target for Victory in November. Help remove Gabrielle Giffords from office. Shoot a fully automatic M16 With Jesse Kelly.”
~ Jesse Kelly (ran against Gabrielle Giffords)

“I do believe in the right to carry, and I believe in the right to defend myself and my family — whether it’s from an intruder, or whether it’s from the government, should they decide that my rights are no longer important.”
~ Joni Ernst

“Failing all other appeals to peaceful means, that the founders’ solution to such tyranny is still available, still potent, and still waiting, for when democracy turns to tyranny, the armed citizenry still gets to vote.”
~ Mike Vanderboegh (founder of the III Percent gun militia and an influential speaker in the right-wing patriot movement)

“Their decisions, unlike the Roe v. Wade usurpation, don’t extend to the whole of society, they’re not supposed to, and we may have to reassert that proper constitutional balance, and it may not be pretty. So I’d much rather have an election where we solve this matter at the ballot box than have to resort to the bullet box.”
~ Larry Pratt (former Virginia lawmaker)

We have never seen such an abuse of power as we have with the Republican run Congress and especially with Trump, who seems to be more loyal to Russia than to the U.S.

James Hodgkinson recently took conservatives up on their gun rhetoric when he shot Steve Scalise and other conservatives at their baseball practice.

Things are going to get worse before they get better.

Conservatives are going to get their just rewards one day

by Ben Hoffman

I was thinking about different terms for “bad karma.” Here are a few…

  • If you fly with the crows, you get shot with the crows.
  • You’re going to get what’s coming.
  • You’re gonna reap just what you sow.
  • Live by the sword, die by the sword.
  • The chickens will come home to roost.
  • You’re gonna get your comeuppance.
  • One day, you’re gonna get what you deserve.
  • What goes around comes around.

Got a Neighbor Who Supports Trump? Let Your Dog Crap on His Lawn and Don’t Clean It Up!

by Ben Hoffman

Donald Trump and the Republicans are destroying America. They have no regard for our Constitution or our Democracy. They’ve done away will all civility in government and whine when they’re criticized.

There are some actions we can take. Trump wouldn’t be in power right now if it weren’t for dumbasses who voted for him. Most of these dumbasses are racist assholes who are loyal to the Republican party — not to our country.

So what can we do? James Hodgkinson, the guy who shot Republicans at their baseball practice, took action. Most of us don’t want to give up our lives for principles — not at this point, anyway. Only a few people are willing to go to jail to save our country. You have to give it to the Antifa crowd for that. They’re fighting and willing to suffer a bit for what’s right.

We can do some things to take action against unAmerican Trump supporters. Here are a few suggestions that won’t get you in trouble with the law…

  • Let your dog shit on a conservative’s laws. Encourage your dog to do so. You can also just bag the poop when you’re walking your dog and then dispose of it on the conservative’s lawn. If he sees you, just tell him to get fucked.
  • Talk about the conservatives behind their backs. Make up crap about them; go wild. Turn the other neighbors against them.
  • Just tell the conservatives to go fuck themselves whenever you see them.
  • If you have a next door neighbor who is a conservative, if you see him having a barbeque or trying to relax in his backyard, that’s a great time to mow your lawn. And take your time doing so. The louder your lawnmower, the better.
  • If a conservative ever sets foot on your property, call them police and have him arrested for trespassing.

Got anything to add to that? All suggestions are welcome!

The sincerity of Cory Gardner

Cory Gardner questioned about his loyalty to the U.S.

Cory Gardner questioned about his loyalty to the U.S.

These seem to be words Cory Gardner lives by:

The secret of success is sincerity. Once you can fake that you’ve got it made.

Fascist New Hampshire GOP Chairman tells conservatives to drown Democrats

by Ben Hoffman

New Hampshire GOP Chairman Jennifer Horn

MANCHESTER – A few hours after Hillary Clinton energized Democrats ahead of Tuesday’s election, about 400 Republicans cheered on the top of their ticket, linking all of their opponents to President Obama.

There were no out of state, national Republicans on hand but that seemed not to matter to the group at Wiggins Airways at the Manchester Airport, who greeted Scott Brown, Walt Havenstein, Frank Guinta and Marilinda Garcia as they arrived on the NHGOP “Victory Bus,” which pulled directly into the huge hangar.

The featured speakers were familiar – of the same name.

Former Gov. John H. Sununu said Democrats should be “embarrassed of their President who has failed America, who has screwed America, and we have to make a change.

“Think of how disgraceful it is to have a disgrace in the White House,” Sununu said.

Yeah, after Bush allowed us to be attacked in 2001, let Osama Bin Laden get away when he was cornered, invaded Afghanistan and fought that war with unprecedented ineptitude, lied us into war in Iraq, fought that war with equal ineptitude, wasted four trillion dollars on the two wars, nearly totally destroyed our economy, tripled the national debt, and created the largest deficit in U.S. history… and those are just the biggies, but Obama is a disgrace because one person has died from Ebola.

New Hampshire GOP Chairman Jennifer Horn had tough words.

Insisting “this is our moment,” Horn said, “A wave just doesn’t happen. Waves happen when every single member of a cause or a movement come together.
“This is our time, we need to crush it and push their heads under over and over and over again until they cannot breathe anymore,” said Horn.

Bill Maher nails what’s wrong with Democratic candidates and why I won’t donate to their cause

by Ben Hoffman

Democrats are spineless. They’re running from their accomplishments and allowing them to be redefined by Fox “news,” other right-wing pundits, and Republicans. I vote for them because their policies are better for America (something conservatives never consider), but I’ll be damned if I donate to their campaigns. Some of their commercials make me want to vote for Republicans, but I don’t because I vote policy — not personality.

The dregs of society serve when it’s an all volunteer military

by Ben Hoffman
How could this possibly be offensive?

How could this possibly be offensive?

A U.S. Army soldier thought depicting the lynching of a black family would be funny. That’s the family values of religious conservatives today — brainwashed by right-wing media and rotten to the core. You can bet the family shows up in church Sunday morning with a “holier-than-thou” attitude.

They’ve been forced to take down the Halloween display.

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – Officials have confirmed that an offensive Halloween display at a Fort Campbell residence has been removed.

A ClarksvilleNow.com reader sent a photo of the display, which shows what appears to be a black family hanging from a tree in a yard on Litwin St.

The child in the display has a knife in its back and one of the figures holds a sign that is not legible in the photo.

Fort Campbell Public Affairs said they are aware of the display and have since had it taken down from the yard.

Brendalyn Carpenter with Public Affairs said they received a report of a Halloween decoration that was “offensive in nature” and contacted authorities to investigate. The occupant was informed of the concerns made by the community and removed the display.

Carpenter said it was her understanding that the display was not intended to be offensive, but authorities deemed it could be interpreted as such. She said the occupant did extend an apology about the decorations.

“Displays of an offensive nature are not reflective of Army values and the family-friendly environment provided for employees and residents of the Fort Campbell community,” Carpenter said.

Latino votes matter in this election if we’re going to defeat the Nazis

by Ben Hoffman
Udall vs. Gardner

Udall vs. Nazi Gardner

In the basement of a northwest Denver office building, blue “Latinos con Udall” signs adorned the wall behind Arturo Rodriguez as he pressed the need for immigration reform and appealed to the crowd in the small room.

“Those of us who are Latinos, we know we’re family-oriented,” said Rodriquez, the national president of the United Farmworkers of America, as he stood next to Sen. Mark Udall. “So we’ve got to be cien por ciento — we’ve got to be 100 percent — in ensuring that all of our family votes.”

For Udall, that Latino turnout could make all the difference in a tight race against Republican challenger, U.S. Rep. Cory Gardner. Also at stake, potentially, is Democrats’ control of the U.S. Senate.

Nixon prolonged Vietnam War and committed treason for political gain

by Ben Hoffman

Vietnam war

Nixon murdered thousands of Americans for political gain

Newly released secret tapes prove Nixon committed treason for political gain.

In October 1968, there was a breakthrough in the Paris peace talks that would end the Vietnam war. At the same time, Nixon’s campaign was relying heavily on the war continuing. If a deal was reached, Johnson would halt the bombing of North Vietnam. But Nixon had Chennault convince South Vietnam that they “should withdraw from the talks, refuse to deal with Johnson, and if Nixon was elected, they would get a much better deal,” Taylor writes. They did on the day before Johnson was going to announce the end of the Vietnam war.

Differences Between Liberals and Conservatives

by Ben Hoffman

Just thought I’d repost my “differences” blog entry… 🙂

A liberal is willing to fight for liberty.
A conservative is willing to give up liberty for security.

If a liberal doesn’t believe that abortion is morally acceptable, she doesn’t have one.
If a conservative doesn’t believe that abortion is morally acceptable, he or she wants to prevent anyone from having one.

When a liberal asks where he gets his news, he’ll give legitimate sources such as the N.Y. Times or Washington Post.
When a conservative asks where he gets his news, he won’t usually answer because it’s not from legitimate news sources.

A liberal sees wrong and tries to right it.
A conservative sees wrong and if it involves another conservative, he claims it’s biased.

A liberal believes most foreign policy issues are best dealt with by taking diplomatic measures.
A conservative believes we should bomb first and ask questions later.

A liberal doesn’t mind his hard earned money going to legitimate government programs.
A conservative hates all things government, but doesn’t mind his hard earned money going towards multi-million dollar bonuses for CEOs.

When a liberal thinks about education, he thinks about college.
When a conservative thinks about education, he thinks about grade school and high school.

A liberal knows that a fact is information that is verifiable.
A conservative thinks a fact is something you can link to. It might be just somebody’s opinion, but if you can link to it, he believes it’s acceptable to use it as a “fact.”

A liberal debates with facts.
A conservative debates by insulting the other person.

A liberal evaluates information and forms an opinion.
A conservative gets his opinions from right-wing pundits.

A liberal debates by siting events that have occurred.
A conservative debates by predicting events he believes will occur.

A liberal debates using facts.
A conservative debates the facts.
