Democrat Kathy Hochul defeated Republican candidate Jane L. Corwin in an upset today. The open seat was in one of New York’s most conservative districts.
Corwin is a strong supporter of Paul Ryan’s plan to destroy Medicare, and that came back to bite her. The Republican plan to address the huge deficits are to cut popular programs such as Social Security and Medicare. They’re destined to suffer huge losses in next year’s election. Read more…
