Right-wingers Complain About Obama Going On Vacation – Republicans Filibuster EVERYTHING So They Can Complain That Obama Isn’t Doing Enough

Right-wingers are outraged that Obama has the balls to go on a weekend retreat to Maine while the economy is in tatters and oil is spewing in the Gulf.

The number one reason for the collapse of our economy was the deregulation of the late 90s that allowed banks to become high-stakes gamblers and for speculators to drive up the price of oil. Democrats in the House and Senate have been working on reform to prevent another catastrophe, but all the Republicans can do is obstruct and complain.

And the little right-wing sheep complain Obama isn’t doing enough. If they really wanted Obama to do more, they’d protest all the Republican filibusters, but they really just want to complain.

    Mr. Hoffman,

    As they say in the Pink Panther movies, you are amasing. Just what were the Republicans successful in filibustering? Your hero got pretty much everything. That’s the problem . That’s why everything is screwed up . And as far as your hero golfing while the Gulf was being lubricated, just how did the GOP stop Obama from saving the ocean ?

    For Democrats to offset unemployment benefits with stimulus dollars would undermine their claim that the stimulus will continue to create and save jobs. It’s to Democrats’ advantage, then, for the party that controls both houses of Congress to let 2.1 million people go without their unemployment benefits in order to cast Republicans as heartless monsters.
    “Democrats have had four chances to extend benefits, which they’ve rejected,” a senior GOP Senate aide. “We’ve offered to extend the benefits, offset by stimulus money. Their argument was, ‘You can’t use stimulus money as an offset because we don’t think stimulus money should be used as an offset.’”

    So it’s the Democrats playing politics with unemployment like everything else they do.

    I guess the Republicans have forgotten how many vacations day Bush took while he was in office. Have they also forgotten he was ridding his bicycle in the middle of the day when someone tried to kill him and chopping wood when New Orleans sank under the waves?

    Now Republicans want Obama to plug the hole (as if he could) in the oil well that (friends of) Bush and deregulation caused. They criticize everything Obama does or doesn’t do. One wonders if they want a president or a saint (miracle worker) or anybody but Obama.
